I am an Electrical Engineer with an MEP consulting firm in Richmond, VA. I got my BS in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University in 2000. I've been designing electrical systems for 20+ years and I specialize in lighting systems design. I've been designing lighting for a long time, and it has been my passion for ages.

My mother wanted me to major in art, but I chose a degree that guaranteed employment. After 20ish years away from art I'm finally back at it. I really enjoy all forms of art but have recently gotten into abstract fluid arts. My medium is acrylic paint on canvas. I enjoy painting, then finding all kinds of things coming up in the image. It is always exciting to see what happens on a canvas. They only occasionally come out as intended but are more often than not much better than I imagined. I enjoy experimenting with different mediums and additives to see what happens.
